Another key factor to consider is electromagnetic interference (EMI) and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC). Proper shielding, filtering, and grounding techniques should be implemented to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and prevent interference with other electronic devices.

In conclusion, designing a simple switch mode power supply circuit requires careful consideration of input and output voltage requirements, component selection, efficiency, and EMI/EMC considerations. By following these guidelines and best practices, engineers can create reliable and efficient power supply solutions for a wide range of applications.
